The mezzanine is an intermediate floor located near the back of Menards which is open to the floor below. It is placed halfway up the wall on a floor which has a ceiling at least twice as high as a floor with minimum height.
The structure covers two hundred feet in length and is sixty feet wide, over 12,000 SQFT. This large structure will be used for additional inventory storage at Menards.
CDC Painting is working on the completion of the commercial painting project for the expansion underway at Menard's West Lafayette Location.
Painting the West Lafayette location involves the use of an Epoxy coating to cover and seal the existing and newly constructed steel structures.
Our Epoxy coatings are packaged in two parts that are mixed prior to application. The resin and co-reactant or hardener combine to form an Epoxy coating based upon the performance requirements for the end product. Epoxies coatings produce a hard, chemical and solvent resistant finish giving steel resistance to water, alkali and acids.
CDC's commercial painting services will be essential in the transformation of the stores 32,000 SQFT garden center into additional floor space. The Menard's store expansion will allow for an increased inventory and a faster turn around for deliveries, which in turn will help Menards better compete with online retails like Amazon.
CDC tasked with painting 28,000 SQFT of new roof decking covering the additional expansion. CDC services will also include new line striping painting and block filler painting services as needed throughout the Westside store.
Concrete block filler, made from resin and acrylic, is used for interior and exterior surfaces, so as to fill concrete blocks, cinder blocks, and precast concrete. This product provides a great base for application of latex, alkyd, enamel or epoxy paints on different types of surfaces.
